THE WORLD'S NORTHERNMOST MEGA
MEGA 2013 - Adventures in Lapland, from 29 July to 4 August 2013 in northern Finland at Harriniva Holiday Center, Muonio. The area is located 140 miles (230 km) beyond the Arctic circle, in beautiful surroundings!
The Megaweek begins with getting to know the area and relaxing together. During the course of the week there will be more and more exciting adventures which you can only experience in Lapland!
You will have the opportunity to try white water rafting, canoeing, fishing and hiking, you can learn about local wildlife species, take part in competitions and enjoy fireside evenings – not forgetting geocaching of course! You can find the MEGA programme on this website.
Come with the whole family to enjoy new experiences, in good geo-company! The week revolves around the Mega itself, but there are also a number of side events and trips which you can plan to do during the week.
MEGA 2013 is open to everyone and is free to all.

MEGA 2013 - SEIKKAILUJA LAPISSA
MAAILMAN POHJOISIN MEGA
MEGA 2013 - Seikkailuja Lapissa järjestetään 29.7.-4.8.2013 Muoniossa, Harrinivan lomakeskuksessa sekä sitä ympäröivässä upeassa luonnossa 230 km napapiirin pohjoispuolella!
Luvassa on muun muassa koskenlaskua, melontaa, kalastusta, vaelluksia, pohjoisen eläinlajeihin tutustumista, kilpailuja sekä iltoja nuotion loimussa – geokätköilyä unohtamatta.
Megaviikko alkaa rauhallisesti alueeseen tutustuen ja yhdessä rentoutuen - huipentuen viikon aikana seikkailuihin, joita voit kokea vain Lapissa. Tapahtuman ohjelma löytyy näiltä sivuilta ja sitä tarkennetaan aina tapahtuman alkupäiviin saakka.
Tule paikalle koko perheen kanssa nauttimaan uusista elämyksistä, kokemuksista sekä tietysti hienosta geoseurasta! Tapahtuma rakentuu itse Megasta, mutta myös lukuisista oheiseventeistä ja retkistä, joita voit suunnitella myös itse tapahtumaviikon ajalle. Lisätietoja tästä löydät näiden nettisivujen alta.
